Labor of Love Homecare Services believes that providing safe and reliable transportation alternatives for older people and those with special needs or disabilities who, do not drive, is critical to keeping them connected to the community and the outside world. The ability to move about the community helps to minimize or remove any feelings of isolation they may have and makes them feel, truly independent.

To do this, Seniors and the Disabled have had to rely on a limited variety of Community based transportation services, family and friends or expensive and unreliable private transport services to get them to and from the places they need to go. This is usually very stressful, inconvenient and costly for most people.

Here are some of the things we do with Senior Transportation:

• Door to Door transportation provided with our own Vans, with wheelchair lifts and licensed, bonded and insured drivers.
• Here are some examples of where you can go:
  • Medical Appointments
  • Hospital discharge pick-ups (Chairs only, no Gurney's) 
  • Shopping and Errands
  • Hair Salons
  • Banks
  • Social Outings
  • Places of Worship
  • Airport drop-off and pick-ups (pricing includes 2 riders and luggage at no additional cost!)
  • Sightseeing Tours
  • Casino Trips
• Two Caregivers are permitted to ride with Clients at no additional cost.

Senior Transportation Rates, Hours of Operation & Restrictions:

• Serving locations within Alameda and Eastern Contra-Costa Counties and Oakland and SanFrancisco Airports
• Hours 8AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday. (Holidays and Weekends have additional charges)
• WE PROVIDE YOU WITH FLAT RATE PRICING ONLY. NO MILEAGE CHARGES OR HIDDEN FEES. YOU WILL KNOW WHAT IT WILL COST AT THE TIME YOU BOOK YOUR TRANSPORT!!
• Minimum 2 hour prior notice required for pick-up (based on availability) 

Payment is due upon completion of service
